Larry S. Katz, Ph.D., is chair of the Department of Animal Sciences and an associate professor in the department. He is known for his work on the endocrine basis of sexual behavior of domesticated ruminants (cows, sheep, goats, and deer). He has worked extensively on animal rights and welfare issues and the management of wildlife populations, particularly deer.
