James Murphy, Ph.D,, is a Rutgers Cooperative Extension Specialist in turf management and recently took a leading role in the rehabilitation of the Monmouth Park Racetrack turf course. The turf track project was part of a multimillion dollar refurbishment of the facility in preparation for the 2007 Breeders Cup thoroughbred races.
