New Addition to the Equine Science Center's Website

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (June 02, 2010) – In an effort to continually implement new ways to experience the Equine Science Center’s website, the Center is pleased to present the addition of a Multi-Media webpage. The Multi-Media page features archives of staff interviews, Equine Science Center videos, and other interactive media such as webinars and the highly popular podcast series.

“We aim to broaden our horizon as we bring better horse care through research and education to our friends, supporters, and the overall equine community,” said Karyn Malinowski, Director of the Equine Science Center. “The Multi-Media page is essentially a ‘one-stop-shop’ for a myriad of interactive Equine Science Center media.”

The most recent video added to the Multi-Media page is a behind-the-scenes look of a Graded Exercise Test conducted in the Center’s Equine Exercise Physiology Treadmill Laboratory. The video features a standardbred mare, Frankie, trotting on the treadmill and also delves into the importance of equine treadmills for scientific research.

For more information about the Equine Exercise Physiology Treadmill video or any other features on the Multi-Media page, please contact the Equine Science Center at 732-932-9419 or visit esc.rutgers.edu.
