RUTGERS EQUINE SCIENCE CENTER OFFERS PASTURE MANAGEMENT WEBINAR

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (May 28, 2009) - The Rutgers Equine Science Center and Rutgers Cooperative Extension will offer the first in their online Equine Management Webinar Series on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at 7:00 PM.

Designed for those who enjoy the Center's equine programs but find them hard to fit into a hectic schedule, the interactive online series uses the latest in internet educational technology to allow participants to experience Extension and Center programming at home, the stable office, or anyplace with access to a computer with speakers and an internet connection. The short 30-minute programs will fit easily into most busy schedules.

The first webinar, "Evaluating Your Pasture," begins promptly at 7:05 PM. Stephen Komar, County Agricultural Agent of Sussex County, will help participants get the most value from their pasture by teaching a quick and easy method to evaluate pasture quality.
